The war against Islamic sect, Boko Haram is still on in the North-Eastern part of Nigeria. The order given to the Nigerian Army by Senate in response to the very recent brutal killing of about 59 students in Yobe is a proof.In May 14, 2013 the Federal Government declared a state of emergency in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe, just to curb this brutality.
Now in this photo, two soldiers are seen running away from a relatively harmless Zebra, with all the muscles in their body. Their legs are almost touching their heads. Na wa o. Are these the ones that would go and fight the insurgents in the North. God help us. Let me assume they have phobia for Zebras or they are running because they are not with guns. Hehehe!
That aside, Soldiers were seen marching along the streets of Lagos this early morning. I actually thought they are supposed to be in the North fighting to restore peace?or is that mobilization trek in readiness for action? Whatever the case may be, there is no time, make them prepare sharp sharp.

Omotola Jalade-Ekiende was recently on the media over here teenage daughter, Meraiah Ekeinde. Yes, the actress was seriously warning those calling her 14 year old daughter hot, to put an end to it. This is because of the profane photo of the teenager that was going around the nook and cranny of the media. The girl was considered hot by some, and to some others was becoming rotten for her age. I guess Omotola was grieved about the way people were beginning to see the girl.
Well, she was tackled anyway, as she was told to go and put her home in order and not blame people for her own faults as a mum. Again, Gunmen Kill Two, Raze Over 120 Houses in Plateau State

An eye witness said the attackers came into Diyam-Rim at about 2 am, raided the village for about an hour, killing the two persons and injuring two others.

Gunmen, suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, have again struck on the Plateau, leaving at least two dead and over 120 houses burnt at Diyam-Rim of Riyom local government area, and Rakok and Razat both of Barkin Ladi local government area of the state.

 The other attack on Rakok and Razat in Barkin Ladi left over 120 houses and farm produce burnt by the assailants.

Interim Administrator of Barkin Ladi local government, Habila Dung told newsmen on phone that the unknown gunmen stormed the villages in the early hours of yesterday morning destroying everything they came across.

Nigeria loses 95,000bpd as Shell shuts Nembe pipeline

Nigeria’s oil production has dropped by at least 95,000 barrels per day as the Royal Dutch Shell said on Wednesday it had closed the Nembe Creek Trunk oil pipeline to stop leakage caused by oil theft.

The oil major said that it shut the pipeline on Sunday night.

The pipeline pumps the Bonny Light grade of crude oil and the Bonny Light export shipping lists for April showed that 95,000 barrels per day would be pumped through the NCTL.

As such, at least 95,000bpd of oil must have been shut in due to the closure of the pipeline.

When contacted, the spokesman for Shell Petroleum Development Company, a Nigerian subsidiary for the Anglo-Dutch firm, Mr. Precious Okolobo, said, “We closed the NCTL on Sunday for the removal of crude theft points. We plan to complete the exercise and reopen the line as soon as possible.”

The NCTL was originally constructed to collect crude from 14 oil pumping stations across the Nembe Creek, Krakama, Awoba, Ekulama and San Bartholomew oil fields, and transport it to the Cawthorne Channel field and SPDC’s Bonny Export Terminal for dehydration and export.

The oil major invested $1.1bn in 2010 to replace the Nembe Creek pipeline, but the  key oil transport channel has been repeatedly hit by sabotage and theft since 2011, forcing Shell to repeatedly shut it.

SPDC had last year announced plans to sell off the 97-kilometre, 150,000bpd of oil NCTL in the Niger Delta and experts said this might not be unconnected with the activities of oil thieves on the pipeline.

Oil theft has been estimated to cost Nigeria some $6bn per year.

SPDC had last year shut down the NCTL for repairs after it was breached by thieves and it said the temporary closure cost an estimated 150,000bpd in lost output.

As such, Royal Dutch Shell said it lost $250m in the second quarter of 2013 due to oil theft and other operational challenges in Nigeria.

Eni also blamed oil theft in the country for the loss of 55 per cent revenue in the second quarter of 2013.

The International Energy Agency also said Nigeria was losing about $7bn annually to oil theft.

“Oil bunkering, or theft, costs the government an estimated $7bn in lost revenue per year,” the agency said.

The IEA last month blamed Nigerian oil theft for damage to pipeline infrastructure as well as cutting OPEC’s output volumes.

After a heated debate, the celebrities defected to the pastors’ side. It was obvious the pastors had won the debate.

Judge Helen closed the case advising young ones not to indulge in premarital sex in their quest to be loved.

African Ancestry and/or a purported African
American." So, what’s the big deal?
Although he denies assuming the identity of
Eddie’s son, Brando's claim reportedly did not
touch on the most glaring contradiction to his
argument, the fact that he took part in
the Sons of Comedy » tour with Richard

DreamWorks Animation Partners With Merlin Entertainments For A New Shrek Attraction

Europe's largest and the world's second-
largest visitor attraction operators - after the
Walt Disney Company - Merlin
Entertainments » has announced they will be
teaming up with Dreamworks » Animation to
create a unique themed visitor attraction
based on Oscar winning animation, Shrek »
and his friends.
According to Broadwayworld.com, "This
landmark attraction, which will
transport Visitors » through a live interactive
entertainment adventure featuring Shrek,
Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots and other
favourites from the beloved franchise, will
include five similar attractions to be built in
other cities over nine years.”
This will be the very first time that Merlin has
worked with a Hollywood studio to create a
scalable branded-entertainment experience
based on a globally recognized entertainment
franchise. Reports also say this will become
the first time Dreamworks – home to global
entertainment franchise like Shrek, Kung Fu
Panda etc – will help in producing an
attraction of this magnitude by licensing the
use of its characters and stories .
Shrek celebrates 15 years this year and the
debut of the first "Shrek's Far Far Away

Hours after the UK based model posted a
picture of her baby bump, confirming the
rumours she is expecting a set of twins, Miss
Haye says she has nothing to do with Davido.
The past few days have seen the Pop singer
and the pretty model go back and forth on
social media, throwing more confusion into the
baby mama brouhaha.
Over the weekend, Davido (who has denied he
is expecting a set of twins) posted a
screenshot of an online chat with Shanielle
Haye and himself.
The message was interpreted in two different
ways by fans - the more general assumption
being that the model might have lost the twins.
But two days later, Miss Haye has posted a
picture showing off her baby bump. It is
however unclear when the picture was taken.
Haye doesn't seem to be bothered about photo
time stamps though as she has categorically
stated she has nothing with the Pop singer.
"Let me LIVE!!! Everyday people wanna create
more lies on me why??, I'm so sick and tired of
all this bullshit .. Leave me the f*ck alone !! I
DO NOT have NOTHING to do with that boy so

Haye said in a series of tweets. Davido isn't the
only one facing baby mama drama in recent
times; 2face Idibia is also getting his fair share;
last week an Access Bank staff alleged she is
expecting a child for the 'African queen' singer.

Update on Ejigbo women torture; police arrest & parade 12 suspects

Ejigbo 3 torture suspects have finally been paraded. The photo shows 10 suspects (Nine men and one woman). The woman is the Iyaloja (market woman leader) and standing second left is the Babaloja (Male market leader) who both allegedly ordered the torture. The Nigeria Police Force has arrested and will soon charge to court twelve (12) suspects connected with the torture of three (3) women at Oba Morufu International Market, Ejigbo, Lagos. Two of the victims who were young girls were arrested along with their mother, tortured and dehumanized by persons who claimed to be members of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) providing security at the market, and some market association officials who subsequently extorted the sum of fifty thousand naira from the father of the victims in return for their freedom. One of the victims, Juliana Agoma, a national of Republic of Benin, was moved back to Cotonou by her father where she subsequently died allegedly from injuries sustained in the torture. 

The suspects include: Isiaka Waidi (the Baba-Oja of the market) said to be the mastermind of the dastardly act which culminated in the arrest, debasement, torture and extortion of fifty thousand naira, Haruna Abdullahi and Buhari Yusuf who mixed the concoction of pepper and alcoholic spirit that were applied on the bodies, including the privates of the victims. Others include: Saheed Adisa, Lateef Tijani, Ahmed Adisa, Oloruntoyin Dauda a.k.a Iya-Oja, Adenkule Adenuga, Jimoh Busari and Azeez Akinosun.

It will be recalled that earlier this year, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP MD Abubakar, CFR, NPM, mni, psc had, in view of his concern towards ensuring the speedy delivery of justice in this case, ordered the immediate takeover of its investigation by the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), Force Criminal Investigation Department (Lagos Annex) from the Lagos State Police Command. Consequently, a team of crack detectives led by DCP Chris Ezike swung into action and conducted discreet investigations in line with standard best practices, during which the suspects in connection with the matter were arrested.

The Police have also declared wanted the following suspects: Tiri, an alleged member of OPC who was captured in the video footage and alleged to have stripped naked one of the victims, Ajoke Agoma, mother of the two other female victims in the presence of her husband, Otepa Oluronti, Akeem and Machael Abolore whose whereabouts are yet unknown but who have been implicated in having played active roles in the heinous crimes against the victims.  

Meanwhile, the IGP has commended the Human Rights, Civil Society, and Women Support Groups as well as the Office of the Public Defender, Lagos State Ministry of Justice and all other stakeholders whose important contributions have tremendously assisted the Police in this and other matters relating to human dignity, safety and security. He however calls on the general public to assist the Police with information that will lead to the arrest of the fleeing suspects.

Tweeting via his twitter handle on Tuesday, the
Delta State-born music producer debunked the
rumour, claiming that there is no iota of truth in
the story.
He jokingly asked, "which of the Atiku's
daughter name be Onome wey I wan marry o?"
Tweeting further, he said, "Rihanna don vex dey
flash me since set becos of did una fake news.
I am sorry hun."
Some hours ago, news went viral on the
internet that Don Jazzy was planning to marry
the daughter of Atiku.
Recall that some months ago, Atiku said on
twitter that Don Jazzy was richer than him,
which caused an internet frenzy. The two are
believed to be good friends.

Badluck: Guard Rapes Woman Returning From T.B Joshua’s Church In Lagos

Over the weekend, a 24-year-old lady, Tivere,
was molested by a security guard – Kelly
Ochuko- on Mutiatu Street, Ikotun, Lagos
State, while returning from a vigil at the
Synagogue Church of All Nation.
The incident happened around 2am.
Police source say Tivere had travelled to
Lagos from Sapele, Delta State, to participate
in Pastor Temitope Joshua’s midnight
programme. Around 2am, she had left for her
lodge when a 27-year-old Ochukwo allegedly
accosted her.
Punch newspaper reports that the security
man, who was employed by the Igando
Landlord’s Association to guard the area got
his victim after threatening to harm her with a
cutlass. To avoid being murdered with the
cutlas, she yielded and followed him into an
uncompleted building where the act took
place.
After having carnal knowledge of the 24-year-
old, Ochuko was said to have pleaded with her
to marry him, and exchanged phone numbers
with her that night.
After being freed, the victim approached some
policemen she saw at a junction and narrated
her ordeal to them and the culprit was
arrested.
He was arraigned before an Ebute Meta
Magistrate’s Court, Lagos State on two counts
of rape.
Although, Ochuko pleaded not guilty to the
charge and elected summary trial, the
magistrate, Ms Y.B Badejo-Okusanya,
admitted him to bail in the sum of N50,000
with two sureties in like sum.
The matter was further adjourned till March 4,
2014.
