The name 'D-Tunes' came into the
consciousness of many music buffs when the
winner of the maiden edition of MTN Project
Fame, Iyanya Mbuk released his hit single,
'Kukere', which later became a street song. In
the song, the singer introduced D-Tunes as the
producer of the song.
The music producer went ahead to do some
other hit singles for Iyanya and another artiste,
Sean Tizzle in Sho Lee.
But not too long after fame smiled on Iyanya,
he reportedly parted ways with his producer.
Some even reported that they left in bad blood,
but the beat maker has refuted that claim and
has said there is no problem between him and
Iyanya.
Speaking recently on why he left Iyanya, D-
Tunes explained the real reason he dumped the
singer, but hinted that they could still woork
together on a song.
"We just had ro leave each other to do our own
thing. It is a case. Of two people trying to move
on in life. That's just it," D-Tunes said.
