who is said to be just 15
years old. The senator
who hails from Zamfara is
said to have divorced his
other child bride, ,Marian
who is now 17 year old
and a mother of one in
order to marry his latest
child bride; Islam forbids
faithfuls from having
more than 4 wives.
Yerima's latest child bride
is also from Egypt, the
home country of his
recently divorced child
bride.
Yerima is one of the
senators who led the
battle against the battle
against the establishment
of 18 years as the legal age
for marriage.
