“If you can’t find me with marijuana, slow down on your assumptions” – Tonto Dike

As the alleged pictures of hemp displayed by Tonto Dike in the social media continues to generate buzz and gossips, the controversial screen diva has condemned those spreading the rumour without due confirmation, saying, the story was made up, based on some assumptions.

In a release made available to DailyPost, Dike had said that those photos did not originate from her, as they were originally sent to her instagram page on her birthday. She denied that those pictures were real, arguing that they were mere birthday designs made by a fan, which she responded with a “thank you” message.

Tonto stressed that in as much as she would have loved to remain mum over the matter, the magnitude of the rumour called for some clarification.

She said “As much as I would like to ignore the current issue on hemp, I think I owe well-meaning people some clarification. It is so easy the misconception that can come from a picture- the genius of technology. If you cannot find me holding a wrap of marijuana then you may want to slow down on your assumptions. We shouldn’t use our platforms to spread half-truths

“A fan wrote those words with herbs on my birthday on instagram, and I replied: “Thank you #teampoko”. Now, how does someone else’s action become my crime?” She asked.

In justifying her earlier post that she smokes ganja and weed while her haters smoke her gossip, she said ” If I said those words (‘Mi smoke ganja, mi smoke weed, while my hatez smoke ma gossip’ ) I will stand by them, but I didn’t, and just because it is convenient for people to believe the lies, still doesn’t make it the truth. The whole thing is falsified by people who just love to have fun at other’s expense” She condemned.

Stressing that the current pictures being circulated were falsified and not like the original one sent to her instagram page, she said “Let’s put some thought to some of the things we write. Don’t do cut-and-paste. The original pictures are there to see; but no! That is too boring to be the truth. We want the truth to be nasty and spicy for our enjoyment, even if it is a pack of lies. Visit my instagram page and see if the original picture is the same as the ones being circulated.

She affirmed that she is head strong and won’t let anything deter her, “Personally, I have moved on to more significant things, and I want you to join me. Do you know how many women suffer domestic violence in Nigeria? What can be done to stop it? Shouldn’t we try to revive the Nigerian homes, so we can groom happy and confident children? I am putting the weight of my voice behind domestic violence. What about you?

“Stop hitting, slapping, cursing, hurting your partner! Where is the love? Let’s restore the dignity of the society with the platform given to us by God. Use that platform of yours to build awareness for more important issues. She concluded.

Meanwhile, DailyPost had reported earlier that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, had said on Friday that it would investigate the act.

Most analysts have said that Dike’s latest reaction to the tittle-tattle may have come as a result of the recent threat by NDLEA, just to dissuade them from further investigation on the matter.

SHOCKING: Something Worse Than Boko Haram Is Coming- Prophet Olabayo
Primate Theophilus Olabayo, 67, founder of Evangelical Church of Yahweh with headquarters in Mende, Maryland, Lagos, had remained one of Nigeria’s respected prophets whose prophesies had shaken the high and mighty in the country.

In this interview, the cleric says there would be a spiritual revolution that will rock the nation to its foundation and at the end of it, a new nation will emerge.
Excerpts:
What really happened that you went off  the radar for several years?

I have been talking. A prophet doesn’t just say things. It’s when God asks me to speak that I speak. Many atimes, I warn our leaders but they don’t have listening ears. I was the only one who said President Umaru Yar’Adua had a terminal disease and when the condition got worse, the wife called some of us to Abuja to ask of the chances of her husband. I said the husband would die and Jonathan would become president.
I warned President Goodluck Jonathan that people would make the country ungovernable for him, but people said I was a prophet of doom. Is it not happening now? Let me quickly say this here that worse than Boko Haram is about to happen.
It’s no secret that you had some health challenges which may have been responsible for your absence for some time. What is the nature of your ailment?

MIRACLE: 53-Year-Old Woman Gives Birth To Twins In Lagos After 20 Years Of Childlessness

It was boundless joy at St Ives Hospital Lagos when a 53-year-old woman was recently delivered of two bouncing baby boys. The woman was conceived through Invitro Fertilisation (IVF), having waited for over 20 years in humiliation and agony.
IVF is a process by which an egg is fertilised by sperm outside the body. The process involves monitoring a woman’s ovulatory process, removing ovum or ova (egg or eggs) from the woman’s ovaries and letting sperm fertilise them in a fluid medium in a laboratory.
The fertilised egg (zygote) is then transferred to the patient’s uterus (womb) after three to five days of being in the incubator, with the intention of establishing a successful pregnancy.
In a chat with Vanguard in Lagos, the elated woman, who pleaded anonymity, probably for cultural reasons, described it as “20 years of tensed waiting for her marriage to produce fruits.”
The jubilant nursing mother and her husband said they were not after publicity but decided to speak to the press in order to encourage couples who are presently facing similar challenges in their marriage not to give up, adding that it is never too late for anyone.
She admitted that she has almost given up when it was obvious that menopause had set in but continued to exercise her religious faith, until according to her, God directed her to St Ives Centre, even when she was not having the required money to carry out the IVF circle.
” If one is in a marriage for two – three years, and has no child to show for it, as an African, there will be pressure, so mine was not exceptional. Though my people respected my person, there were pressures both from within and outside. But l held on to God because I’m a strong Christian and l know He never fails. I serve a living God who is faithful despite our unfaithfulness.
“I heard about St Ives just by chance. That was in September last year. Coincidentally, l did my Masters programme at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), very close to the hospital, and l never knew this place existed. It was divine and all things work together for those that love God.
“My advice to every woman wanting fruit of the womb is that they should hold on to God and l pray for them that their joy should come into manifestation soon. There is nothing impossible for God, it could be difficult with man but certainly not with God. If He can do mine at 53, it shows no case is concluded.
“For me, l see it as a reward for my past shame. God has given me double glory, my two boys. It is more than a miracle. And for the management of St Ives, l keep praying for them because they are not after one’s money, if they were, l couldn’t have registered.
“People used to call me Big Mummy, but God has given me a new and better name, ‘mummy twins’. l am now a fulfilled woman,” she narrated.
Her husband, who claimed to be four months older than his wife, said he knew his wife at age 12 when they were in secondary school but time and space set them apart for separate marriages where the man was fortunate to have children unlike the woman.
Fate however reunited them to become a happy family today having known each other for over 40 years.
He said the joy that the twins brought to the family had overridden their past apprehension; trauma and agony all through the years of his wife’s infertility, adding that she might have wept secretly on countless occasions.
“Today, all we are saying is thank you God. My wife had fasted and prayed and l believed that is why you see her looking like under sixteen now. I must confess that everybody is happy,” he said.
Reacting on the feat, Chief Medical Director of St Ives Hospital, Babatunde Okewale said the hospital’s Fertility Unit adopts a success-oriented approach towards infertility, focusing on solution for infertile couples at an affordable cost rather than doing endless investigation and tests.
The cost of IVF in most Nigerian hospitals, he said, was relatively between N650,000 and 1 million per circle and that was largely dependent on an individual patient. He noted that it was never a cheap process globally as it costs about 10, 000 dollars and above 5, 000 pounds in the United States of America and United Kingdom respectively.
Okewale pointed out that there were other procedures in medicine that were more expensive than IVF, giving kidney transplant and hip replacement that cost over N1 million as examples. He maintained that the procedure was affordable by most Nigerians.
He revealed that through IVF, about 550 babies have been delivered at his hospital which was established five years ago. He said St Ives does a half price promo once a year, in collaboration with some Non-Governmental Organisations.
Okewale further stated that the hospital is highly specialised in treating repeated IVF failure, provides treatment for men diagnosed with sperm problems and in elderly patients with a success of about 30 percent, including the conception and delivery by a 57-year-old woman.
As infertility continues on the rise worldwide, he enumerated some of the causes as urbanization, pollution, stress, chemical exposure, career orientation, late settlement in life, non-properly treated infections, obesity and abuse of antibiotics.
Urging Nigerian women to start bearing children earlier, he also said that the success of IVF was determined by age and the earlier the better.

“I Am Not Dating Mikel Obi” – Actress Shan George Cries Out

Shan George knows she is cannon for controversies and is unapologetic about it. Recently, she was quoted to have said that most married Nollywood actresses are not faithful to their husbands, that they keep numerous lovers. that allegation was said to have rankled a number of her colleagues who felt scandalized by such revelations.

The mother of two boys said that offensive article misrepresented her statement and was motivated by the writer’s desire to cause unnecessary friction between her and her colleagues in the industry.

“That was such a low blow. Why should it be my problem to know – not to talk about other people’s marriages and what they are doing or not doing? It is not my nature to make such judgment calls and most of my colleagues knew the writer of that piece was motivated by hate and not by the desire to help build the industry and the bond of friendship that exist in Nollywood.

If you had attended my premier, you would have seen that almost everyone who is somebody in the industry showed up. Would they have done so, if they thought I was a loose cannon or that I take delight in disparaging other people? No, they  would never have done so! I forgive the guy who wrote that offensive piece.”

Shan also used the opportunity to condemn in a strong term the recent news that circulated online that she was photograph unclad. “I am really disappointed by the level of ignorance of some people in today’s world. I mean who low can they get.

I went out with some friends of mine to mark my birthday and we were all dressed in swim suit-bikinis. There was no indecent exposure – we were just having fun. The pictures are all on the net. Yet someone after seeing the pictures – went and wrote that I was photographed unclad.

Can you imagine that? I can’t imagine if the writer cannot recognize someone wearing a swimming trunk and a unclad picture. It is very annoying. I have morals and I would never pose unclad – not for a million dollars. You know what I have come to see that in this industry: there are some people who are haters and instead of applauding your efforts, would rather take delight in painting you in colors that do not represent who you are. But I am glad that the majority of my fans worldwide know who I am.”

Recently too, a picture of Shan was posted on line where she was seen seemingly cavorting with the top Chelsea soccer star, Mikel Obi, leading to  the speculation that she and Mikel wee dating. When asked, Shan was incredulous “This is really getting crazy. So I can’t even have a drink with someone – just innocently, without being linked romantically with the person?

Mikel Obi is at a talented soccer player whose skills I appreciate. I am his big fan and when they won the Champions Cup last May, I was over the moon with excitement for him and his team mates. We met and had a drink in Lagos recently and that was that! Nothing romantic happened between us. I am not dating Mikel Obi and I hope some of these traffickers of lies can go have themselves some life.”

JSS Students Caught Selling Their Blood Illegally In Lagos For N1,500

How This Lady Slept Around With Different 370 men

Approaching a man at a bar, Seyi Kolade had only one thing on her mind as she chatted with the stranger - sex. Within hours the pair were in bed together and she was delighted at how her evening had panned out.
“The only cure for my loneliness was sex. I had five guys I could meet with for sex when I wanted and was also sleeping with strangers. I’d go to bars and easily pick one up. Being good in bed made me feel worthy.”
Seyi's revelations are quite troubling. See her story below...
And this was not a chance encounter, for Seyi was a sex addict and it was what she did almost every day for 13 years. When asked why Seyi said: “Sex addiction took hold of my life.”

Seyi, 35, was just 17 when she became dependent on sleeping with men. By 19 she'd had 40 partners and she says she has bedded a shocking total of 370 men.

Her dangerous addiction led her to a life of destruction - catching sexually transmitted infections, being evicted from her home and having two terminations.

By the age of 30, Seyi had hit rock bottom and needed help. Today, after attending numerous sex addiction meetings and 12-step programmes, Seyi has been celibate for four years and is helping others like her.

She explains says: “Sex addiction is something people associate with men, but it took hold of my life for more than 13 years. It was a craving and a fear of how I’d feel if I couldn’t get it.

“Once I did, it was a huge relief, like a weight was lifted. It’s like any addiction. It made me selfish, self-destructive and depressed but it was a cycle I couldn’t escape.”

She adds: “I lost my virginity when I was 13 with my first boyfriend. I was shocked when I fell pregnant. I gave birth when I was 14. It was a very difficult time.”

Social services arranged a nanny to look after her daughter, Sarah, from six weeks old. Being a young mum scarred Seyi’s childhood. She says: “I moved out of home when I was 16 with Sarah and lived in a mother and baby unit. I felt terribly lonely. I craved affection, I was miserable.”

Moving into a housing association home at 17, Seyi met then-boyfriend Paul, 31. It was now that she began to use sex to replace her feelings of loneliness. She says: “When I started having sex with my boyfriend I thought it was the answer and would stop me feeling so lonely. But it wasn’t enough.”

Going to bars, Seyi, from Birmingham, cheated on Paul at least once a week with strangers or men she would meet regularly.

She says: “I needed sex and afterwards it was a relief. When I couldn’t have sex my confidence would plummet, I felt ugly and went into a spiral of upset and frustration, feeling unworthy and needing another fix as soon as possible.”

Seyi fell pregnant at 17 with son, Andrew. She says: “I told Paul it was his although there was some doubt in my mind. After I gave birth I tried to stay faithful. I wanted sex with him four to five times a day, but the attention from him wasn’t enough.

“When the pent-up sexual frustration became too much, I’d go elsewhere and get validation through sex.
“I cheated on him three times in six months, then fell pregnant again.”

Devastated and unable to look after another child, Seyi made the decision to have her baby terminated. She says: “It wasn’t fair on the child to have them. I didn’t know whose baby it was so I didn’t tell Paul. I wanted our relationship to work but we split up when I was 19.”

By 22 Seyi had caught chlamydia twice. Going out almost every night while her children were looked after by friends and family, all she could think about was sex.

She says: “Between the ages of 22 to 30, life was a blur, my addiction had taken over. “I was sleeping with five to six men, or meeting strangers for sex at bars weekly. I fell pregnant again at 26. I felt I had no choice but to have a termination. I got drunk and had sex After the procedure.

“I don’t know how I managed to keep my job as a management consultant. I took lots of sick days when I craved sex and couldn’t face the office. I even slept with a colleague.

“I was evicted for not paying rent when I was 29 and had to send my children to live with my family.”

While staying with a friend Seyi saw the documentary The Secret, about the laws of attraction. She says: “I knew I had a problem but never stopped to think about being a sex addict. I realised I needed help.”

After quitting her job to concentrate on her recovery Seyi, then 31, went to an addiction meeting. She says: “There were six others there and when I listened to their stories it cured my nerves. I didn’t stop craving sex straight away but cut down slowly.” Since August 2009 she has been celibate.

She says: “I’m so proud of myself. I’ve craved sex but the programme lets me know the trigger signs. “I don’t plan on having sex any time soon. If the right guy comes along and I feel I’m in a stable, loving relationship, I’d feel safe to do it. I have my children back living with me and feel I’m no longer a sex addict.

“I’d hate to think where my life would be now if I hadn’t sought help.”

Despite her recovery, Seyi lives with the guilt of her addiction. She says: “I could have passed on STIs, I had two terminations and my kids didn’t have the attention they deserved.

“I’ve now trained as an inspirational speaker and happiness advocate. At workshops and seminars I can help others understand what sex addiction is, where it comes from and recovery.

“Being celibate has given me my life back. I want to help others do the same.”

OH NOT AGAIN!!! Another Baby Abandoned By Teenage Mother In Osun State (PICTURED)

Mother Abandons Infant in HospitalHealth workers and patients at the Osun State General Hospital, Osogbo were left confused on Friday when a nursing mother, Mrs. Grace Adipe, allegedly abandoned her three-day-old baby in the hospital.

The hospital community was taken aback as the news of the abandonment spread.

A woman, Adijat Bamijoko, told NAN that she was in the hospital to assist a patient when the incident occurred on Thursday, and wondered “how a nursing mother could abandon her child.

“Although, I do not know the woman, but one wonders why she should abandon her baby in the hospital where Gov. Rauf Aregbesola had made medication free for all,” she said.

Other people who expressed surprise over the incident, called on the hospital’s management to ensure that the fleeing mother was brought back to care for her baby.

Search team, including government officials and law enforcement agents had failed in their effort to find the woman.

The Osun Commissioner for Women and Children’s Affairs, Mrs. Mofolake Adegboyega, said in a statement that efforts to contact the woman by the hospital authorities were yet to yield results.

Adegboyega called Adipe’s relations and members of the public to be vigilant on the whereabouts of the woman.

She urged members of the public to consider the innocence and future of the child and help in efforts to find the mother and her relations.

The commissioner said that any information about Adipe’s whereabouts should be directed to the nearest police station or the Director of Social Welfare in the ministry, Mrs. Grace Adegoke.

Photographer Sues Tuface, Wife Over Wedding Pictures

Justice Mohammed Idris of  the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has fixed  October 16, 2013 for the commencement of trial in a N120 million copyright suit filed against popular music  star, Innocent Idibia, a.k.a. TuFace, his wife, Annie Idibia and their manager, Anthonio Anifite over  photographs allegedly taken at the recent traditional wedding of the musician and his wife in Akwa Ibom State.

Abuja based photographer, Emmanuel Okolo, who is the plaintiff in the suit alongside his studio, Papilonmexy  filed suit against the defendants.

He is asking for six reliefs, two of which include N100 million in general damages and N20million in exemplary damages.
At the resumed hearing of the case yesterday, neither TuFace nor his wife was represented in court. Anifite who is the second defendant was however represented by his counsel, J.O Uttute.

Meanwhile, a mild drama ensued when the judge openly admonished Uttute after the latter claimed that he had filed his defence when he had not done so.

The judge warned him not to come to this court again if he was not prepared for the case.  “You told me that you have filed your response, but looking through here, there is nothing to that effect. And you are even smiling. Do you think you are here to joke? Never come to this court again if you are not prepared. You don’t even know when the case was filed and you are not prepared for it,” said the judge.

Also,  the plaintiff’s counsel,  Habeeb Oredola expressed worry over the defendants’ inability to appear before the court  or  be represented by a counsel after they were served with the writs of summon.

In the writ of summon, Okolo and his studio claimed they were contracted by TuFace’s wife through a third party, identified as Ms Chineze Anyaene to take photo shots at the traditional wedding held in Eket, Akwa Ibom state in March, 2013.

The plaintiff said, he was reluctant at the beginning since the offer was coming through a third party, but later accepted after he was convinced that the offer was actually with the blessing of the first defendant.

Annie Idibia was said to have later contacted the photographer after the wedding and demanded for the printing of 10 of the high resolution pictures taken.

Govt officials withdraw support for OJB due to misinformation on funds raised

There have been speculations that some celebrities have been to see OJB and made some donations. While it's true that the likes of Don Jazzy, P-Square, Ruggedman, Mercy Johnson, Iyanya, Julius Aguw have contributed, the other names on the list that circulated today are 100% false. For instance, D'banj didn't give N7m, Wizkid didn't give N3m and 2face didn't give N1.5m.

Head of fund raising committee for #SaveOJB, singer Nomoreloss, says the hype and misinformation is affecting efforts to raise the complete money OJB needs for his treatment. See more tweets after the cut...

Tonto Dikeh risks jail term for posting weed photos on Instagram?

For posting the marijuana photos on her instagram page, a representative of The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency is saying actress Tonto Dikeh faces jail term.

NDLEA spokesman Mr. Mitchell Ofoyejus told Punch

“Our attention has been drawn to the post quite frankly and I can tell you that action will be taken on it. The law is clear and NDLEA has been very clear on the issue. No one is permitted to sell, use, cultivate or encourage the use of Indian hemp in Nigeria. The weed is one of the banned narcotics in the country.
“NDLEA Act Section 14 (b) states that any person who conspires with, aids, abets, counsels, attempts to commit or is an accessory to any act or offence referred to in this act shall be guilty of an offence under this act and liable on conviction to be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not less than 15 years and not exceeding 25 years.
So if you get 15 years for posting a weed photo on social media, what do you now get for selling and distributing? And what about those who sing about it? I don't get! Continue...

“Investigation has not started as of now but definitely, a step has to be taken on the matter. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse; so, it is obvious that the actress stands the risk of 15 years jail term. The appropriate department is meeting on the issue for necessary action.”
The NDLEA spokesman, however, declined to give any hint on particular steps the agency would take in its investigation, citing reasons bearing on ethics.

Kidney ailment: Why I asked for help – OJB speaks

OJB Kidney ailment: Why I asked for help – OJB speaks
For years, ace producer, singer and song writer Babatunde Jezreel Okungbowa suffered a life threatening kidney disease and no one knew until now.
OJB shocked Nigeria’s entertainment scene when he emerged from the shadows of his quiet search for a cure to his kidney ailment when he announced he needed $100,000 (approx 16 million naira) to undergo a kidney transplant to save his life.
OJB told HIP TV “I guese this is something I have more or less been battling intensively with for two years. Before now it was just an off and on experience with High Blood Pressure, and once in a while a little pain down there.
But as at 2011, it became very intense; swollen feet, swollen stomach and swollen face. It was discovered that the Kidney was malfunctioning but at as that time they could actually do something about it if they stepped down the blood pressure which we did in 2011.
From 2012 up until now it’s been an off and on scenerio. Two days you’re down and then you’re bouncing back again. But from 2013, about two, three months ago, it became a serious situation whereby I can’t eat, I can’t drink.
I think going to the media has debunked a certain idea. Ofcourse, in entertainment we are making money but sometimes people expect more than the unusual from us. I mean we have money but we are not Dangote, we have money but we are not Opera.
It’s not been easy for the two, three years since we started handling it because before you know it, they give you a bill for a year of going to the hospital and you find out that for the past one year you’ve spent two, three million naira and you do that again the second year and you say wow! and there’s still no solution. You discover that you are at a stage that it’s even more complex and it’s obvious you can’t fight the battle alone. The truth is, you have to open up your boundaries and let people help you at large.
We are not trying to hit a specific group of people and say ‘ o you must be a multi-millionaire or billionaire and so why not help us’. What we are looking at is average Nigerians, well meaning Nigerians. If they come together, $100, 000 in the centre of these people as big as it may appear is an ant in the middle of the ocean.”
Reacting to allegations from some quarters that this was a  false alarm, OJB said “Well if people think that it’s a lie, well, I won’t blame them, this is Nigeria. But I believe to a large extent, I have a bigger integrity than that.
If you look back at my history, five, six, seven years ago, my daughter had a issue with her heart which became cancerous and if you want to be very candid, I can’t remember calling out to the public to help me pay the bills as at that time we were paying nothing less than $45,000 to the operation. I didn’t call on anybody to ask for money for that; but at this point in time it’s bigger than what I can handle and that’s the reason why we are reaching out to people.
This is not a case we start spending hours saying is it the truth or not the truth? If they want to go to the doctors and confirm it then they can go there. Sorry to say but I am not that cheap to decide to fabricate such a thing that I’m feeling sick, please help me. People have made donations and we appreciate it.
It’s not like people are coming there and making 50 billion naira donations. People have brought in 100 naira, 1,000 naira. If you’ve seen me in the past ten years, you’ll know it’s not the same OJB you knew.”
Babatunde Jezreel Okungbowa is fervently being prayed for by fans for a speedy recovery.

My True Relationship With Peter Okoye- Munachi Abi

Former 2007 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) turned rapper finally speaks out on the rumoured affair with one of the P-Square brothers, Peter Okoye.
Love is life and its the most beautiful thing to happen to anybody and yes I believe in love at first sight but for me and Peter, there's no such thing.

There is no romantic relationship between us, we are just very close friends and I even no his family as well, as a matter of fact I've known his baby mama, Lola Omatayo for years. I was just invited to be in his video (Ifunanya) and that was it. Nothing more than that.
I know how much Peter and Lola love themselves and I respect that, so I could never bring myself to hurt them.

**most of the Boko Haram Members arrested were found with various drugs. The boxes found in their possession at various camps included not only weapons, but drugs of different kinds.

Governor Kashim Shettima shocked everybody present at the inauguration of a 10-man committee on drug abuse at the council chambers of the Borno State Government House on Thursday, when he declared that some of his cabinet members were drug addicts and asked one of his commissioners if he knew them when he (commissioner) burst into laughter.

The governor, who was reacting to an address by the state commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) when he said it was sad that drug abuse in Borno State has risen to an unprecedented level and has cut across age, sex and various socio-economic backgrounds.

Governor Shettima, who corroborated the commander’s position also said most of the Boko Haram insurgents arrested were found with tramol and psychotropic drugs, adding that, some of the boxes also found in possession of the sect members at various camps included not only weapons, but drugs of different kinds.

It is recalled that the 10-man committee inaugurated by the governor was informed by his efforts to curb drug abuse in the state by complementing the efforts of the NDLEA in the fight against illicit drugs in Borno State.
While inaugurating the 10-man committee, Governor Shettima said apart from the second World war, nothing had consumed more human lives than drugs and that drug abuse is worse than cancer and HIV/AIDS, as such the need to have a committee to control the menace in Borno State.

The governor said people under the influence of drugs can commit heinous crimes such as rape, murder, robbery and sometimes even commit suicide, because the drugs control them, adding that drugs are like forbidden fruits which once tasted, it is difficult to resist.

A woman has mystified doctors after she literally
started crying tears of blood.
20-year-old Yaritza Oliva visited her doctor as soon as this
strange condition started earlier this month. The doctor could not figure out what the cause is so she was sent home with some eye-drops.
Oliva says the pain of the condition is “indescribable”. Her parents are seeking help for them to raise money to send their daughter to an eye experts.
“Please put your hands over your hearts, see our situation and help my daughter,” her father pleaded.
Experts say it’s possible Yaritza has a very rare condition called haemolacria, which causes sufferers to produce tears containing blood.
There are only THREE documented cases of the condition, which can be symptomatic of a more serious illness or a tumour – or caused by a high level of hormones in fertile women.
